Two KISS themed covers from CRAZY Magazine.
In the April 2014 issue of Guitar World magazine, guitarist Paul Stanley and bassist Gene Simmons celebrate their upcoming Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction, with a pair of revealing interviews about their 40 years in Kiss. Also, Stanley and Simmons rate Kiss guitarists past and present: from Ace to Tommy Thayer.
In addition,we make the case for 15 artists still waiting to be admitted into the Hall of Fame, including Stevie Ray Vaughan, Dimebag Darrell,Ted Nugent, and Soundgarden.
Plus, read about how a new generation of acoustic guitar fingerstylists is blazing a daring style of percussive, alternate-tuned shred. Then, try it out for yourself! Guitar World presents an instructional guide to the inspired techniques of percussive acoustic guitar playing.
Finally, The Scorpions wrap up their nearly 50-year run with a new Unplugged release, and a farewell album of songs from their Eighties heyday.
Real fucking weird mishmash of photos here. You’ve got Gene from a 2009 shoot for Sonic Boom, and a Paul from a 2002 shoot for the Life Savers “Rock the Roll 90th Anniversary”.
He found the rebel bass.
Paul Stanley - On the Set for the “Sure Know Something” Video [June 20th, 1979]
That shattered mirror guitar is the best.
Vinnie Vincent - Creatures of the Night Tour
The Ankh-Warrior himself. Thoughts on Vinnie?
Gene Simmons of KISS - Motley Crue/KISS The Tour
Face the Music: A Life Exposed by Paul Stanley
With Paul’s memoirs set to be released on April 8th of this year, it’s kinda hard to not get excited over what Mr. Stanley has to say. I mean, not only does Paul come across as a seemingly private individual who would NEVER open up his own personal life like this, but he also comes across as a guy that would wait to be the last original member release a book, solely to be the one with the last word on things.
If there’s gonna be some passive-aggressive shit slinging, it’ll probably be in this book. CAN’T WAIT!
Ace Frehley of KISS - Psycho Circus Photo Shoot
The greatest that Ace ever looked. Great hair, perfect makeup and an overall classic SpaceMan vibe down to the wild array of rings he would wear during this period.
Gene Simmons of KISS - Psycho Circus Photo Shoot
I’ve always wanted to spend the $500 or whatever to get myself a pair of the official KISS licensed dragonboots.
Then, I remember that I’m an adult and have bills to pay. :(
